Last, Last, Last Dairy Dans (week 9)

Hello everyone!

We are definitely in a season of change. There is snow expected for Michigan next week and we can actually kind of see through the trees now! We live about 10 minutes away from downtown Lansing with the capital building and the skyscrapers, but you would never know it. The trees hide everything!

On Tuesday I spent about 3 hours making salsa out of the tomatoes. But it ended up being really good! At first it was super spicy so then I diluted it with more tomatoes, and then the flavor was off, then I fixed the flavor, and then the salsa just didn't taste good until the next morning when it was cold? And now its pretty good. I also went live again! I'm going to go live again tomorrow but I have no idea what to do it on.

On Wednesday we did some more garden service. I cut and laid a lot of landscape fabric. We also got our last Dairy Dans after service! I got the brownie fantasy and it was amazing.

On Thursday, we had a social media specialist meeting with all the SMS's in the North America North East region! Which was awesome. We had our first meeting with some amazing new friends of ours named Hiram and Dominique. And after a lot of practice, I was finally able to say my first half English, half Japanese prayer!

On Friday we went downtown and dropped off a Book of Mormon. Downtown is crazy! Mostly due to some questionable driving by Elder Leavitt 😂. And around 8:30 we got our last, last Dairy Dans. I got their cinnamon toast crunch flurry, which may have been the most delicious thing I've ever eaten.

On Saturday we had more garden service. I went crazy with a pickaxe, which was good considering my intake of Dairy Dan. And after service, we got our last, last, last Dairy Dans before they closed for the season on the 25th. I got the cinnamon toast crunch flurry again because it is amazing. We also had another lesson with our good friend Tom. He wished me an early happy birthday.

On Sunday we went to church. We are now having in person church every week! President and Sister Heap are in our ward as well, so they joined us for church. They are just amazing! We also had another lesson with the lovely Donnelly family!

Things are great here in Michigan! Thank you for your support and I will have more next week!
