Jake Oswald, the Notorious Tithe Stealer?

Hello everyone!

This week was a good one! On Tuesday we met with our friend Dominique again. And she is just amazing, since our last meeting she read the entire chapter of 1 Nephi! She told us the story about when I first got in contact with her over Facebook, and I invited her to meet with us. She said that she talked to a friend who's grandfather was a really big pastor in the area, and he told Dominique that "Jake Oswald" was this notorious tithe stealer. That he has stolen thousands of dollars from the church and was an awful person. Dominique said that she thought that the literal devil was contacting her. And its me, just some kid from Idaho. So she soon realized that my intentions were pure and she agreed to meet with us and she is just great. So apparently, there's some guy with my name stealing tithes 😂

We have also been having a lot of meetings with our friend Hiram, and he is just amazing too! He understands doctrine so well and he truly wants to learn the truth. We are so grateful to be able to teach him!

On Thursday we finally got a new car! At last we didn't have to share the car with the sisters and we could leave the old car behind. It was a brand new Equinox and when we got it, it had 35 miles on it. It is a beautiful silver car. Anddddd.... we gave it to the Sisters. So we are still with our Malibu 😂😂. But it is good, they will definitely benefit from the car. It will help them through the winter so we were happy to give it up!

On Friday we made and dropped off a ton of cookies. We dropped some off to the Donnelly's and we had an amazing experience with them! Kelle invited us in and we were able to give her and 2 of her kids a Priesthood blessing and it was really just amazing. They are just the best people ever!

Halloween was a pretty busy day for us too! Our neighbors had an absolute rager though. Party music was heard all night long to get us in the spirit of Halloween 😂

Sunday was good too! We had church and a testimony meeting. And we met with the Donnelly's again! We had our ward mission leader and former bishop, Brother Steed with us and he is an awesome guy! We also tuned into a devotional by Elder Uchtdorf that he gave to the North America North East region youth. It was an amazing devotional! He introduced his quick start guide for our mortal journey here in life.

Today for p-day we went to the zoo! It was a ton of fun. We also went to Red Robin and did some filming for a video with some members of our district. It was a great p-day!

But thank you all for your support! And I will give you more next week!
