Dreaming of a white Christmas... (week 17)

Hello everyone!

It has been a very busy week here in Michigan. This week we are teaching like 8 new people! And wow, we are teaching some amazing, amazing people. These individuals truly love God and want to follow him. They are such an inspiration even to me.

Last monday we said goodbye to our AP Elder Schmanski. As a companionship we wrote a song for him and its not too bad!

This Christmas season is so special though. I am so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ. He is truly our Advocate, always. The comfort that comes from His Atonement is real. It can change lives. We have had such an amazing opportunity to meet with and interact with some really amazing people.

We had an amazing zone conference this week as well! We talked a lot about the Restoration Proclamation and it's significance and the importance of giving gifts and giving the gift of ourselves to God and to others. The Restoration Proclamation is such an inspired and powerful document. We can't get enough of it! We are working on memorizing it word for word and it's truly amazing.

We are really enjoying our time together as a companionship too. I am so blessed to have two diligent and amazing missionaries as companions. Elder Averill finishes his training this week and Elder Sorensen is just awesome. They are both progressing so well and becoming better and better each day. Its truly a pleasure to participate in this great work with them!

Today for p-day we went shopping, played some basketball, and even went bowling for a district p-day! I'm still no good at bowling but it was a great time. We also took some pictures at the Capitol building and Elder Sorensen was able to get his first look at downtown!

It's been an amazing week. Things here are truly amazing. I can't tell you all how grateful I am for your support. Your Father in Heaven loves each of you perfectly and He recognizes all the amazing things you do and provides some amazing blessings in return.

Also, we have had a bit of snow here but it has all melted away. The lawn is still green and there isn't much hope to have a white Christmas this year, which would be the first time in my life that I would go without a white Christmas! So hopefully we can get some snow soon!

Merry Christmas to all!

Elder Oswald
